# Glossary

This glossary provides definitions for key terms used throughout the InGrow platform and documentation.

**Signal**

Any LinkedIn interaction that indicates prospect interest, such as a reaction, comment, connection, or profile view.

**Signal Score**

A numerical representation of the intensity of a user's engagement, calculated based on the type, frequency, and recency of their interactions.

**Connected Profile**

A LinkedIn account that is being actively tracked by InGrow.

**Sync Window**

The specific time frame (2:00 AM - 5:00 AM IST) during which InGrow performs automated data updates.

**Boolean Search**

An advanced filtering method that uses operators such as AND, OR, and NOT to create precise keyword queries.

**Webhook**

An HTTP callback that allows for real-time notifications of new signals to be sent to a specified endpoint.

**List**

A custom collection of signals created for organizational purposes, such as grouping high-priority leads or tracking prospects for a specific campaign.

**Profile Metrics**

Aggregated statistics about a LinkedIn profile's posting activity, including total posts, average reactions, and posting frequency.

**Reprocessing**

The process of re-syncing posts at specific intervals (Day 1, 3, and 7) to ensure that all engagement is captured.
