When you first connect a new LinkedIn profile to InGrow, it undergoes an initial synchronization process. This is the most intensive data collection phase, designed to build a comprehensive baseline of the profile’s activity.

Sync Duration

The duration of the initial sync can vary depending on the profile’s activity level, but it typically takes up to one hour to complete. You will receive an email notification once the process is finished.

Data Collected

During the initial sync, InGrow collects the following data:
  • Recent Posts: Up to 100 of the most recent posts from the profile.
  • Post Engagement: All reactions and comments on the collected posts.
  • Profile Information: The user’s name, headline, profile picture, and other public information.
  • Connection and Profile View Data: If the connected account has a LinkedIn Premium subscription, InGrow will also collect data on new connections and profile views.

Progress Indication

While the initial sync is in progress, you will see a “Syncing…” status next to the profile’s name on your dashboard. This status will be removed once the sync is complete.
